Came in on a Saturday night. Quaint restaurant located off Park Blvd in a small strip mall. Our waitress was friendly and helpful with the menu. No complaints on service. She even gave us some coupons and let us use one that night. The food: Fried calamari appetizer- Tasted good. Nothing stands out though. Crawfish etouffee- I enjoyed this dish a lot and thought it was really good. Lots of crawfish in it and the flavors were really nice. The roux was thick and yummy. Scallop po'boy- Hubs said it was good. He finished it all so I take it that he liked it. :) Fried chicken wings appetizer w/ steak fries- We ordered this for our son since there was not a kid's menu. The wings are naked, fried and then tossed in some delicious sauce. The steak fries w/ Cajun seasoning were really good too! Nice and crispy and not at all greasy. Crawfish (mild)- we ordered one pound just to try it. While not bad, it was kind of bland. Would probably order a spicier flavor again (maybe it was the mild sauce)..or maybe I am comparing to the shabang sauce of a well known Orlando restaurant... Anyways, we will probably be back to try some other items and give the crawfish another chance. The restaurant is fairly new still (waitress said they've only been open for a couple months). Definitely give them a try and see how it is!

Been wanting to come here, finally made it and was not disappointed. I had fried oysters that were great. My lady downed the Shrimp Po'Boy and loved it. Calamari was awesome. Crawfish pot stickers and jalapeno crawfish poppers were delicious. Everything was hot and fresh. Would recommend.

Second trip to Clearwater from Maryland in the last three months. This place rocks, staff is super nice and the special with corn, sausage, potatoes and crawfish is rocking. Hidden gem & highly recommend

Best Cajun ever! Jumbalya was perfectly cooked and everything had great portions. The crawfish were from Louisiana and large. They have good prices and a good family atmosphere. When you see it located in a strip mall don't be fooled! It's way better than fancier places. Do yourself a flavor....I mean favor and eat there!!

Not having had crawfish in such a long time, we came here very hungry & eager to try this place. Apparently sit down restaurants serving crawfish by the pound are pretty rare to come by which also made this find all the more special in the Bay Area. From the outside you cant miss this restaurant with its Red & Yellow striped vinyl decal plastered across the windows as you drive by on Park Blvd. The interior was nothing too special but then again we didnt come inside looking for a flashy interior or pretty seats, we just wanted crawfish! As for the food, the crawfish was very yummy. Had almost like a gummy like taste to it, as attempting to open each crawfish one at a time trying to get the most meat is a topic of conversation all in itself. pretty fun experience trying to perfect how to pry open one of those little suckers and get all the meat out in one piece. Good spice on ours and you are given the option of changing the degree of your spice with when you order, based on your personal preference. Also, the crawfish we received had a good size to it and after the 1st pound we all wanted more. I had the po-boy sandwich & the jambalaya and it was good although the true stars was the crawfish. i'd def come back for more!

YUM. YES. FEED INTO MY CRAWFISH ADDICTION. I have been eating crawfish every week now and QT does not help. It just adds onto the list of places to visit when I want crawfish (it's a good thing). Especially when I'm trying to binge on crawfish before the season ends because who wants frozen food? Fresh is way better! Live is even better :D I absolutely love the crawfish jalapeño poppers, they are really unique and are so tasty. I highly recommend these to start with. I did try the crawfish potstickers and they were not what I was expecting. They are more like empanadas and I'm not crazy for it (I was thinking steam potstickers). The crawfish was yummy! Sadly, not as yummy as ones in Orlando because of the sauce, but still tasty. I tried the extra spicy and it was barely spicy at all so the spice level is weak here. The flavor of the sauce isn't bad, it's just not as tasty as other places and very watery. The big plus is also the fact that it feels and looks clean inside. The tables are not sticky and the whole restaurant doesn't smell dirty. This is wonderful as I know how messy these meals can be. They do have a very large menu so check it out! I want crawfish, NOW!

It was my first time coming to Qt Crawfish after driving by many times. I'm really glad I came!!! When you walk in, it doesn't really look like a restaurant, (it's very clean, though!) but don't let it fool you. The menu has plenty of great choices, and I picked the Jambalaya. There was only one server there, who seemed to have everything under control. He was very nice and fast with everyone's orders. Anyway, the Jambalaya!! Absolutely fantastic. Full of flavor, textures, and perfect amount of spice. I was extremely happy with my dish. I will absolutely return to try the Crawfish and the Shrimp Po Boy. Other than the restaurant being plain/lacking in theme, (not a huge deal), the customer service and food has got me hooked.

Fantastic little hidden gem, stuffed in a plaza that you would never think to pull into to eat. I got the shrimp po boy and it was fantastic!! Many shrimp, smothered in delicious remoulade sauce with fresh lettuce and tomato. Served with side of delicious fries. Price was fair at 10.50. Only reason rated 4 stars was the inside atmosphere left a little to be desired but amazing food none the less.

OK, OK, I gave it another shot (a year later) after all of the glowing reviews subsequent to my first take. I thought that I must have been hung over or sleepwalking when reading others' experiences here that were in stark contrast to mine. I was wrong-about the hangover. As much as I would like to like the food here because the manager is so nice, the food here-at least the fried food-is simply awful. This time I tried the soft shell crab Po' Boy. The breading they use is a big part of the problem. It creates the impression (could be correct) that the seafood is frozen and out of a package at the store, not made fresh in the back. It is a heavy breading that adds nothing except calories to the food. The soft shell crab was heavily breaded and almost flavorless, and overcooked as well. The fries were terrible. (Change your grease). My guess is the owner has alot of friends who were encouraged to review here because then the reviews would make sense based upon her nice personality . However, based upon the food itself, the highly positive reviews are simply misleading or written by people who have absolutely no idea of what is good fried seafood. There are so many superior options in the area, like Gulf Coast Po Boys, Ricky P's or even Cajun Cafe that offer authentic Cajun food that tastes vastly better than the offerings here. So, at least for the fried selections, avoid this place.

We found this place only with the help of Yelp. It is not easy to see as it sits off the road in a stop center. Look for the Yellow Sign. We tried several if the dishes. We started with the Calamari...not the best ever but very good and crispy. We opted to share a bowl of the Crawfish Etouffee and Jambalaya. The Etouffee was very good. Lots of crawfish and the rice was perfect. The Roux could have used just a little more seasoning. The Jambalaya was insane! I have never had any better anywhere including in New Orleans. We also got a couple if pounds of the boiled crawfish with all the fixins. Great boil flavor and the mudbugs were perfectly cooked...firm and tasty. We were so glad to find this little jewel of a place in the most unlikely of locations. If ever in the area or even far away, drive over and have the Jambalya! Call first to see if the bugs are fresh as they are better in season because you will want some of those as well!

The place is nice and quiet. The services is great. I have had shrimp Po boy, Oyster Po-Boy. Just today I order the red beans and rice. The spies was just right. The red and yellow sign you can't miss it.

Driving through St. Pete and Yelp happened to recommend this place, so glad we stopped by. The calamari was delish, very crispy and fresh. The crawfish potsticker was more like an empanada to be honest, it was good but I wasn't a fan. Then there was the scallop tacos, omg, amazing! Would totally go back next time I'm in the area. All around, good quality food, great service, and good bang for your buck. Check it out if you're in the area!

My friend and I swung by this place on our way up to Tampa from Sarasota. She was craving some crawfish and I just wanted some seafood. Everything was great! We ordered 1lb of mild crawfish, cup of crawfish etouffle, side of rice, and some fried pickles. I'm not usually a fan of friend pickles, but for some reason, I decided to get them this time. I'm glad I made that decision-- the pickles weren't overly tart, the breading was just the perfect amount of crisp and had the perfect thickness. What was suppose to be a shared appetizer turned out to be one whole appetizer to myself :)

Ordered take-out last night and it was killer! The mild and medium crawfish were flavorful and had the perfect amount of spice and heat. We turned it into a crawfish party at home and will definitely be ordering from here again!

QT Crawfish is a great little taste of New Orleans tucked into a strip mall along Park Boulevard in between 49th Street and US 19. From the outside you'll see the sign saying "Crawfish", and inside you'll find a super clean restaurant and take-out counter with space for about 15 tables. During crawfish season (March through June), this is the place to come in with a group of friends, sit at a table, and order a pound or two (each) of boiled and seasoned crawfish with small redskin potatoes, Andouille sausage, and half-ears of corn on the cob. Order some Blue Point oysters to start, and a bucket of your favorite bottled beers, and then dig in! If you're not a fan of the little mud bugs, then you'd probably prefer one of their baskets of fried oysters, fried shrimp, fried fish, fried scallops, fried calamari, or fried chicken strips or wings baskets. They also offer cups of gumbo, Cajun fish tacos, Po'Boy sandwiches made with fried tilapia, shrimp, scallops, oysters, or crawfish. In addition to the cooked crawfish, you can order snow crab, clams, King crab, shrimp, mussels, scallops, frog legs, and scallops as a lunch or dinner entrée, and seasoned mild, medium, spicy, and extra spicy. And finally you can order one of their Cajun rice dishes including jambalaya, crawfish etouffee, and red beans and rice. Since I was there out of season, and in between client appointments, I had the fried oyster appetizer basket with remoulade sauce, followed by a bowl of their crawfish etouffee. Both were really good, and very filling. Unless you ask otherwise, the food is served lightly spiced but you have a choice of various hot sauces sitting on each table so that you can punch up the flavor to your liking. QT Crawfish is open every day from 11am - 9pm. There are so many different things on the menu that I really enjoy, and so I know that I need to plan a follow-up visit or two and try some more of this Cajun goodness in Pinellas Park!

I really really wanted to love this place. It's impossible to find Cajun food much less boiled crawfish in Florida. I'm so bummed. They're crawfish are frozen and then overlooked. Service was good. But can't get past the frozen crawfish. Very bummed

Good things: Excellent jambalaya Great service Great spicy crawfish Tasty shrimp tacos Comfortable atmosphere (Does not feel like a strip mall) Clean place Free wifi Beer Negatives: Étouffée needs attention "Rice dishes" were Pricey Suggestion: Sampler Wet napkins Dessert (creme brûlée, biegnets) Over all very good and will be going back to get a po' boy next time.

I didn't expect much at all, cause we're from New Orleans and still haven't found any suitable Cajun style food. We ordered the Crawfish special. It was outstanding! In fact, it was the best Cajun food that we've had since moving here. Totally recommend this place and we will be back soon!

QT Crawfish is freaking awesome. We had fried scallops and catfish, which were delicious. Service was super friendly and helpful. Don't be a wimp: Go eat their shrimp.

  • Steve P.

Best Cajun around. Poboys are much better than Ricky Ps. The Cajun has a slight Asian twist, but it's authentic with a lake Charles type spin. Hope this place stays around, a true unique place that isn't geared as a tourist trap.

I love their crawfish! So good with their fries. Their fried shrimp is good too but everything else is a bit pricy. I'd mostly just come here for their crawfish :) my bf liked their scallops too.

Amazing crawfish! The only thing missing are the newspapers on the tables to be a totally authentic n'awlins restaurant!

Amazing fresh food! Tried this place out on a business trip and was not disappointed. I was back in town again recently and stopped by twice before heading back home. The first time I had their shrimp Po' boy and it was amazing. The second time around I went with a group and we ordered their crawfish and jumbo shrimp. Everything was succulent, fresh, and had great flavors. Before heading back home we stopped by for lunch on our way to the airport and I again had the shrimp Po' boy and their fried oyster Po' boy and was immensely satisfied! Highly recommend this place, and I know for a fact that I will be going back there on my next business trip.

This was the absolute worst place! My family and I went here September 12th for dinner. Boyfriend got the crawfish, but was informed it was frozen not fresh so it would be a little dry, daughter got the fried chicken strip basket, and I got half dozen oysters. My daughters chicken was so dry they took it off our bill and the 1pound of crawfish was more like 1/2lbs of dry, awful tasting crawfish and ONE 1/2lb potato! No corn, nothing else. It was so bad we paid picked up food from somewhere else on our way home. I wouldn't let my dog eat here....go somewhere else for dinner people!!

Solid place. We had the shrimp tacos, eggrolls and etouffee. Everything was delicious. The etouffee was more like a gravy because it was probably on the stove too long but it was still delicious. Thumbs up. Simple, easy and tasty.

I have been there twice seeking oysters. They were out both times. That was my only reason for going to this restaurant. I'm looking for fresh oysters. Remove them from the menu or have them available. I'll call ahead before I return.

Have been driving to Orlando to find crawfish, but no more! Just had two pounds of their Crawfish and have to say it was outstanding! Very tender, the seasoning was excellent (they have mild, medium, spicy and extra spicy - I had spicy) and the base is butter and garlic. Yum!! The corn was ok as was the potato.... I like my corn a bit fresher and redskin potatoes but that's minor compared to the quality of the crawfish. Sure they've only been open 3 months so a few more glitches to work out. But go and support them! Oh yes, bibs would be great too... I came home and had to change my shirt! LOL

I came here a few weeks back with some out if town family. We ordered probably over 10 lbs of crawfish in boxes. I also ordered the jambalaya. What I really liked about the crawfish was their sauce. Very flavorful. The jambalaya was also delicious. The prices for everything was reasonable except the crawfish was just slightly overpriced compared to others in the area but not too significantly. The interior design and atmosphere is simple yet very charming. Staff was more than friendly and very welcoming which was wonderful. I will come back when I get the chance.

First time dinning there, was awesome. . Had the carwfish etouffee and my wife had the jambalaya and both portions were large for the price. . The bathrooms were clean so it make me feel like it a very clean place . They had some fried pickles and were large pickles and litely breaded. Got a pound of carwfish to go ... will go back

My husband and I were visiting a friend in the hospital and asked several staff members where should we go to dinner. They all have us chain places, thanks to yelp we found QT Crawfish. First what we ordered. Bowl of chicken and sausage gumbo, andouille sausage, coleslaw, fish tacos, chicken tacos and shrimp tacos. We visited on Tuesday and to our delight it was Taco Tuesday, all tacos $2.00. I'm from Louisana/Texas, this gal can't be fooled by over breading, hiding behind hot sauce or a burnt roux. The gumbo had depth and individual distinct flavors that slammed together like beads hitting a by sanders hands at Mardi Gras SCORE!, yes to your question about there being okra but pick it out if you don't like it, you Coonies out there you will not be disappointed. Each flavor of the tacos were outstanding, it was generous in it's serving of protien, well balanced with the salad mix and again to get the distinct flavors and balance them takes finesse. The sausage was good but I would skip it as a side order. My husband is a coleslaw freak. (Too long to explain) he loved the acidity balance and the poppy seeds were a bonus, mayo based but not swimming! Big note, the chef knows how to season! We will make the trip back. We live about 40 miles away. This place also offers daily specials. I can't wait till Crawfish season returns and the prices drop a little per pound. GEAUX GEAUX GEAUX, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Decent food for a decent price. We were craving Crawfish and there are not many good dine in places for some good Cajon food. We heard about this place and wanted to try it out. The place is very clean and the service is good. The po'boys were very delicious but a little too heavy on the sauce so it took away the flavor of the seafood just a little bit. The gumbo, jambalaya, red beans and rice were wonderful and made very well. The Crawfish etoufee was good but nothing to rave about but if you have a craving for it, it will do. The Crawfish was frozen and the sauce was good but again, will hit the spot if you have a craving but not the best. Worth a try.
